It's Official: Drummer TIM MALLARE Quits OVERKILL
May 13, 2005Drummer Tim Mallare has offically left OVERKILL, according to a posting on the group's web site. Mallare is said to have exited the group of "his own accord. His contribution over the last 14 years have been at the highest level. He will be missed!
Joining OVERKILL as the permanent replacement for Mallare is Ron Lipnicki, formerly of HADES. "[Ron's] work and talents have been tireless through the band's Euro tour," according to a post on the band's web site. "OVERKILL looks forward to presenting their newest member to YOU on the road!"
Tim Mallare originally came into the group prior to the recording of 1993's "I Hear Black".
OVERKILL are continuing to tour in support of their "ReliXIV" album, available now on Eagle Rock/Spitfire Records.
